fitting wheels

HI everyone im graham from dublin ireland ,im new to this so im just learning about the car. i want to lower my car by 40mm and fit either 17" or 18" wheels to my 68 123gt .im looking at some wheels at the moment on ebay that i like but not sure if thely will fit ,they are 18" 8j 40 offset and 110 pcd ,can someone help me please

If pcd is what I think it is, they won´t fit. Amazon rims have 114,3 mm or 4,5 inches.
