Hi Iv@n, first of all, that's a great restoration you are doing!!
I just read the entire thread and I noticed that your sheetmetal skills is really good and I have some questions about that. Are you working whit sheetmetal for a living or have you done anyother restoration in this size before? I mean your weldingjoints looks like they've been done by someone with really good vocational skills! For me as a swede it thrills me to see that foreigners in other parts of Europe put their entire soul to restore a beautiful car like that!
I wish you the best with your restoration and I hope that we all, not in a all to long time, will see pictures of the car when it's ready to hit the road again!
Greetings, Philip

Just like you and so many else my economy decides what I can or can't do with my car but 800euro(!?) for a pair of doors sounds way to much! Is that the price for brand new doors or used ones?
If I knew how I would remove some good doors from a car at the scrapyard and send them to you, I guess that wouldn't cost even half of that mount you were talking about? Here in Sweden you can get doors in good shape for about 50euro each but then i don't know about the transport fee?
When u are back in restoration don't forget to update, this project is Amazon, hrm, sorry, Amazing!

I have youre project i my mind if i get any ideas of how to get and ship the stuf. I asked a friend from croatia only a couple of weeks ago but she didn´t have any good idea. Maybe some lines in "amazonbladet" (the club paper) could be an idea.
